Places and Spaces webinar: Putting the romance back into planning
On 14 February, we hosted the first of this year’s “Places and Spaces” planning webinars, jointly with Andrew Black Consulting. As the title suggested, we took the Valentine’s Day opportunity to put the love and romance back into planning.
What we discussed:
This time, we were joined by Steve O’Halloran from Reside Developments, who shared some of his recent experiences dealing with water neutrality across the region. In addition, we explored:
- The impact of changes to the five-year housing land supply and delivery requirements,
- How recent planning changes have been felt on the ground in terms of decision-making in the new NPPF world, and
- The impact of the updated appeal process and what further reforms are coming down the line.
It was definitely a session for all the planning and development enthusiasts out there!
