Cripps returns as main sponsor for TEDxRoyal Tunbridge Wells 2025

Top 100 law firm Cripps has announced its support for TEDxRoyal Tunbridge Wells 2025, an independently organised event held under the TED license. Headquartered in Tunbridge Wells, Cripps previously partnered with TEDxRoyal Tunbridge Wells for the last event in February 2020.

The theme for 2025, “Next Steps,” reflects the significant changes experienced over the past five years. From rapid technological advancements and climate change to shifting social dynamics, these global and local transformations have impacted communities worldwide, including Tunbridge Wells. TEDxRoyal Tunbridge Wells will explore the ideas shaping the future, alongside developments in AI and shifts in local governance.

The speaker and performer lineup for this year’s event includes:

• Dr Julian Abel, expanding on his 2020 TEDx talk, showing how compassion can go far in so many parts of our lives
• Sally Henderson, sharing actionable tips on how to turn purpose into action, backed by research and real-world stories
• Bob Varney, showcasing how the Subbuteo World Cup came to be and how such initiatives can bring communities together
• This Is Us Dance, offering an inspiring performance that celebrates the joy and creativity of movement for children and adults with additional needs
