Cripps expands London real estate team with partner appointment
Cripps is strengthening its real estate team with the appointment of Adam Carney as a partner to its commercial real estate team in the London office.
Joining from Pinsent Masons, Adam brings extensive experience in high-value and complex development, investment and asset management transactions. He advises major investors, developers, operators, and urban estates clients across the retail, leisure, and office sectors. In his previous role, Adam led the repurposing and retrofitting group, focusing on repositioning and upgrading existing building stock – an area that aligns with Cripps’ commitment to helping clients navigate the challenges of delivering sustainable projects and future proofing their real estate portfolios.
Stephen Hedley, head of real estate at Cripps, commented: “Adam’s expertise will be invaluable as we continue to expand our real estate offering in London. His track record in complex transactions enhances our ability to support clients in an evolving market.”
Adam added: “Cripps has built a strong reputation for delivering commercially sound real estate legal advice, and I’m excited to be joining at a time of significant growth and opportunity. I look forward to working with the team and helping clients unlock value in their portfolios, whether through investment, development, or repositioning strategies.”
Adam’s arrival marks another key milestone in Cripps’ strategic expansion in London, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to evolving alongside its clients’ needs and delivering innovative real estate solutions.
