Cripps advises B.P. Marsh on private equity investment

Cripps’ corporate team has advised B.P. Marsh & Company Limited on its investment in Denison and Partners Ltd, in which it acquired a 40% stake in the business.

London based B.P. Marsh is a specialist private equity investor in early stage financial services intermediary businesses, including insurance intermediaries, financial advisors, wealth and fund managers and specialist advisory and consultancy firms.

In this case, Denison and Partners is a London-based insurance business, with a focus on delivering (re)insurance delegated authority solutions and services to Managing General Agencies, Coverholders and (re)insurers.

The Cripps team was led by Salim Somjee and also included Eoin Broderick (corporate) and Emma Saunders (employment). This was the second private equity investment carried out by the team for B.P. Marsh, following its investment in Lilley Plummer Risks Limited in 2019.
