Cripps advise GTDS on its sale to Ethical Power Group

Cripps has advised the shareholders of Gunning Transmission & Distribution Services Limited (GTDS) in relation to its sale to Ethical Power Group, a vertically integrated renewable energy company.

GTDS, a specialist provider of High Voltage installation and commissioning services to the Original Equipment Manufacturers, was in its 20th year of trading at the time of sale. The acquisition of GTDS follows several years of close collaboration between the companies and will enable further expansion of services and strengthen Ethical Power’s position as a comprehensive solutions provider in the energy market.

Jade Hallam and John Kirkwood (corporate) led the Cripps team. Jade commented: “We’ve worked with GTDS and its shareholders on a number of matters previously and were delighted to support on this transaction. There were some challenges along the way but we were thrilled to navigate a successful outcome for our client.”
