AdEPT Technology Group plc acquires Datrix Limited

Cripps has advised longstanding client AdEPT Technology Group plc on its strategic acquisition of Datrix Limited.

AdEPT is one of the UK’s leading independent providers of managed services for IT, unified communications, connectivity and voice solutions. It provides services to thousands of customers across the UK, through strategic suppliers such as Openreach, BT Wholesale, Virgin Media, Avaya, Microsoft, Dell and Apple.

Headquartered in London, Datrix is an award-winning supplier of cloud-based networking, communications and cyber security solutions, with a focus on serving public sector clients.

The acquisition, which has been funded through a new bank facility, is strategically important for AdEPT and in line with its aims to grow both organically and by acquisition, to consolidate a fragmented market and bring enhanced capability to customers.

Cripps advised on the acquisition of Datrix as well as the extension of the enabling credit facility. The project team, which included John Kirkwood and Jade Hallam, was led by Nigel Stanford.
