I am a consultant in the residential estates team specialising solely in residential property; both in the areas of enfranchisement and property dispute resolution.
Since qualifying in 2004 I have worked with both individual lessees and corporate landlords and asset managers including the largest private residential landlord in the UK.
I split my practice between handling all enfranchisement claims including: collective enfranchisement, lease extensions, Right to Manage, 1967 Act Claims and Rights of First Refusal and residential property litigation.
I advise on service charge issues, often advising managing agents and landlords in relation to the content of consultation notices and service charge obligations generally. I also advise in relation to Rent Act tenancies, Assured Tenancies and Assured Shorthold tenancies usually in relation to the recovery of possession. I am often asked to advise on difficult development issues including development of roof space, basements and unauthorized works of alteration. I have significant experience in both the County Court, Chancery Division and First Tier Tribunal.
