What to expect
You’ll experience three different practice areas, meet an extraordinary variety of people, and enjoy a unique insight into the work we do. It will be challenging but fun.
You will have the opportunity to learn from our lawyers and other professional staff. You’ll conduct research that extends your knowledge of the law and present project work to our legal professionals. All with encouragement and honest feedback.
Placements are full time at our Tunbridge Wells office.
Am I eligible?
We welcome applications from law and non-law graduates.
To be eligible to apply you must at least be in the penultimate year of a law degree or the final year of a non-law degree.
Vacation scheme dates
We will run two vacation schemes, predominately from our Tunbridge Wells office, in April and June.
- The Spring vacation scheme will take place between 7 April and 11 April 2025.
- The Summer vacation scheme will take place between 16 and 27 June 2025.
What we look for
How do I apply?
We only accept online applications via our website. We cannot accept any other method of application.
How do we assess candidates?
Online application form
The application form will ask you to provide your employment details, education history and details of any work experience. There will also be some questions which help us get to know you better and understand your motivations for applying to Cripps.
Online assessment & video interview
Candidates will be invited to complete online assessments and an on-demand video interview. These do not require any legal knowledge or experience, but we would encourage you to complete thorough research on the Firm beforehand.
Assessment day
This will be a full day spent at our offices. You will have the opportunity to hear more about the Firm as well participating in some individual case studies and group exercises.
Vacation scheme
Successful candidates will then be offered a place on one of our vacation schemes.
You will have the opportunity to learn from our lawyers and other professional staff. You’ll conduct research that extends your knowledge of the law and present project work to our legal professionals. All with encouragement and honest feedback.
Following completion of the scheme, we may then ask you back for a training contract interview.
